Daniel Roehl, Owner/Instructor (Classroom and Behind-the-Wheel)
Dan graduated from the University of WI Eau Claire with a double major in history and social studies and a minor in coaching. For four years, he chaired the Social Studies Department and served as the head baseball coach at Prentice High School in Wisconsin. In 2000 Dan accepted a social studies teaching position at Immanuel Lutheran High School in Mankato. He started Safety & Respect Driving School in 2004. Dan, his wife Jennifer, and their daughters Isabelle, Evelyn, and Lilly continue to make their home in Mankato. Personal email: danroehl@hotmail.com
Jennifer Roehl, Owner/Office Manager
Jennifer Roehl was born Jennifer Helget in New Ulm, MN. She attended Minnesota State University graduating in 1998 with a degree in social work. Jennifer began her professional career as a licensed social worker with MRCI in 1998. In 2004 she accepted a position as supervisor for the MVAC Sibley County office. When Daniel and Jennifer adopted their daughters in 2006 and 2008, Jennifer chose to stay home with them and take on the bookkeeping and scheduling duties of the driving school.
Matthew Busch, Instructor (Classroom and Behind-the-Wheel)
Matthew was born and raised in Minnesota. He moved to Mankato in 1991 and graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a degree in elementary education. Matthew has taught 6th grade at Franklin Elementary since 2000. He, his wife Julie, and their four daughters continue to make Mankato their home.
Kyle Ochsner, Instructor (Classroom and Behind-the-Wheel)
Kyle grew up in the Twin Cities area. After graduating from college at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, he and his wife moved to Denver, Colorado to begin his teaching career. They moved to Mankato in 2007 when Kyle began teaching high school math and science at Immanuel Lutheran School.
Marie Casto, Instructor (Behind-the-Wheel)
Marie grew up in Mankato and graduated from Mankato Technical College in 1991 and South Central College in 2009. After living in the Twin Cities area for 16 years, she, her husband, and children relocated to the Mankato area. She works at Immanuel Lutheran School as the office manager and teaches 7th & 8th grade Smart Living.
Matthew Dick, Instructor (Classroom and Behind-the-Wheel)
After graduating from Minnesota State University - Mankato in 1999, Matt and his wife moved to the Twin Cities, where he began a career in law enforcement. He has been a licensed peace officer in MN since 2001 and is currently a trooper for the Minnesota State Patrol. In 2009 Matt and his family were able to move back to Mankato where they currently reside.
Adam Owings, Instructor (Classroom and Behind-the-Wheel)
Adam is currently attending Minnesota State University - Mankato and pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. He has been a volunteer at the YMCA Brother/Sister program since 2005. He is currently a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Reserves and has completed one tour of duty in Afghanistan and one in Iraq.
